TICE Explore workshops are geared towards enhancing student skills and deepening their understanding of the creative, design, and digital industries. By taking students out of the classroom and placing them in locations like businesses, galleries, studios, and higher educational institutions, younger learners are exposed to the creative sector at a more advanced level.
Workshops are organised to foster inspiration and encourage a drive to succeed so that students can get an insight into what their future may hold. Depending on the wishes of the group, the agenda for the day can involve hearing from experienced professionals, honing their skills, or participating in a mini brief.
Workshops are available throughout the academic year, and schools have the opportunity to conduct either single or multiple workshops, accommodating groups of 15-30 students, depending on the workshop objectives and location. Participation is open to students in year groups 8 through to 12, regardless of experience.
Our workshops are designed in collaboration with industry-leading employers to give students a first-hand experience of the skills and techniques needed to succeed in the creative industries. From graphic design to fashion, music and more, our workshops provide students with real-world insights and hands-on practice in the latest trends and technologies.
Led by experienced professionals from the creative industries, our workshops are engaging and informative and provide valuable opportunities for students to learn directly from those working in the field. In addition to developing their technical skills, students will also learn about the creative process, teamwork, and problem-solving - all essential skills for success in any industry.
These workshops are valuable not only for students but also for teachers. Our mentors provide comprehensive industry insight to help integrate the workshops into your existing curriculum, ensuring that your students get the most out of their experience.
