Purpose of this Policy
The purpose of this policy is to:
Embed equality and diversity in TICE’s culture, operations, and values.

This policy applies to all staff, learners, schools, industry partners, sub-contractors, visitors, and volunteers.

This policy applies to:

It covers all aspects of engagement, including recruitment, training, service delivery, participation, complaints, and disciplinary processes.

To realise our commitments, we will:
Proactively challenge inequality, discrimination, and exclusion.
Build awareness of diversity through training, communications, and learning.
Assess and mitigate the impact of organisational policies and practices.
Promote inclusive images and language in our materials.
Build partnerships that enhance our diversity objectives.

Prevent Duty
TICE takes its Prevent Duty seriously. Extremist views of any kind have no place within our organisation. We:
Ensure staff and facilitators know how to identify and respond to concerns.

Refer concerns to appropriate authorities, including the police or local authority, when necessary.
Measuring Impact
We collect and analyse equality data to monitor performance, assess impact, and improve practice. This includes data on recruitment, participation, and outcomes.
Responsibilities
Managing Director: Holds overall responsibility for equality and diversity across TICE.
All Staff & Volunteers: Must uphold the policy and model inclusive behaviour.
Partners & Schools: Expected to support and comply with this policy in all engagements.
Complaints Procedure
Any individual who believes they have experienced discrimination, harassment, or victimisation should report it to us. We will treat all concerns seriously and respond in accordance with our:
